20 shillings make a Pound
So a shilling is a small coin like a dime
The allegory for men who wear sneakers with jeans would be an IQ of 99 cents short of a dollar?
Oh ! it's a Math Formula !
cool , I love those .
Do Fibonacci with me ?
ok ,,,
3 into 5 goes 1.6 times ,,, now add the 3 to the 5 we get 8 , now take the divided number, which was 5
now , 5 into 8 is 1.6 times .
do it again , add the last two together ,,, 5 and 8 are 13 ,,,
divide by last number again
8 into 13 is 1.6 ,,,
Neat , infinitude , always 1.6 with some change .
cool eh ?
Now , there are 20 Nickels to a Dollar ,,, not dimes , which would be 10 dimes to a Dollar .
so a Shilling to a Pound would be more like a Nickel to a Dollar .
Did I win the Spelling Bee ?

One can always tell the wealth of a Country by its monetary system. When in Switzerland the small tender is in 5 marks coins whilst when one travels to the U.S. is amused they still have paper dollars in circulation . Non only they still use paper dollars but they transact most daily purchasers in single one dollar bills. One struggles to find a $2 note in circulation. This can only mean most citizens are impecunious

Why not? A one legged prostitute could have a thousand reasons to steal a left sneaker

By the way, have you checked if there's any connection to the large number of feet floating ashore in Canada?

Yepper I did , each sockless , only one had footwear , and that was a Right Loafer , no Sock .
Thinking about that , anyone who'd even own a Loafer , doesn't deserve to have Feet .
