Have you read Little, Big by John Crowley?
One of my favorite books.

No I never read it and ive never heard about it till your post and thanx...

Sounds like its a story I could relate to and would really like...

I could probably and rather easily expand our rainbow colored acorns/fairy land experience into a short story or something and its title would obviously have to be the same as this threads headline...

But now that I've put it out there into the world wide web theres probably someone out there somewhere who might already want to use it or has already...

Just like my popular and powerful "Wars Are..." thread along with its numerous photographs and unique title which were already stolen by someone from another country who created their own web site with it...

The narrow minded thieves cant think of their own ideas?!

As a kid, some of the kids I knew *ahem* were taking massive amounts of dextromethorphan .

Quote:At doses much higher than medically recommended, DXM and its major metabolite, dextrorphan, acts as an NMDA receptor antagonist, which produces dissociative hallucinogenic states somewhat similar to ketamine and phencyclidine.[12] Along with other drugs such as ketamine or phencyclidine, also known as PCP, there is a street name for dextromethorphan-infused substances which is also known as "Angel." It may produce distortions of the visual field – feelings of dissociation, distorted bodily perception, excitement, and a loss of sense of time. Some users report stimulant-like euphoria, particularly in response to music. Dextromethorphan usually provides its recreational effects in a non-linear fashion, so that they are experienced in significantly varied stages.

At any rate, I knew a guy that swore up and down he saw gnomes on the stuff, and they had pets... small dinosaur like creatures with plumage... on leashes. wtf2.gif
I did not doubt it then, nor do I now. It may take a certain frame of mind to be open to that.
