I doubt we see them at all, the sky doesn't get all that dark now up here gaah.gif It's nearly 10:30 pm here and there's still a bluish tint to the sky.

We usually get rained out every time there's a Meteor shower. Last seven have been muddled out by bad weather

Its a conspiracy I tell ya 13.gif

Many times through the years i've gone outside on clear nights to watch well publicized and supposedly vibrant and many too see in my area at advertised the place in time meteor showers and every time i was able to see only a few "falling shooting stars" and was more or less disappointed but i suppose thats a good thing for as nice to look at as they may be meteor showers are the children of asteroids and comets the harbingers of earthly doom and gloom and extinction...

In case you have cloudy skies NASA is doing a live screen.

Quote:Hello to all! The Ustream feed is showing the skies over Huntsville, Ala. The box will be grayish and blank as we transition into full darkness, then it will show a sky view. Clouds are moving into our area, so the "blank box" effect may persist. We'll cross our fingers for clearing skies

Looks like they have some clouds as well but it might clear up

Yup.

One of those silent, low-flying ones
that look like they rise out of the sea
just left the friggin' Motherload
over town from SW to NE.

Wish they'd leave the blue sky alone.
