This timeless song almost defies description...

Easily one of the very best songs from the 1970s and this might actually be the greatest love song ever made...

Haunting brilliance with amazing instrumentals and shimmering ghostly vocal harmonies expressing true feelings and emotions...

I'm Not In Love - 10cc - 1975 >

I recall that vaguely, good song... my mom liked it chuckle.gif
I remember their other biggie better, the things we do for love (I think?) I thought it was the Beatles when I first heard it.

Funny you should mention the Beatles...

Because Paul McCartney has said that this song "I'm not in love" by 10cc was and still is one of the greatest songs he ever heard...

And he invited the band to make some songs with him...

Great to see you Mr.B! hi5.gif cheers.gif Kate Bush is great, some definite Celtic influence there. I must confess I'd never heard anything from her. Wasn't big Stateside for whatever reason.
Thanks Beyond S! That was the song I was remembering, great stuff... and still puts me in mind of the Beatles chuckle.gif

For some unknown reasons Kate Bush never caught on in the United States like she did in England and elsewhere...

I know lotsa' folks dig Kate Bush ~ but for me, her voice has the appeal of fingenails on a blackboard.
