WASHINGTON – Unemployment rates rose in 28 U.S. states last month, partly because more Americans started looking for work and not all of them found jobs.

The Labor Department says unemployment rates fell in 11 states and were unchanged in another 11.

Nationally, the unemployment rate remained 7.6 percent in June, even though employers added 195,000 jobs.

The rate stayed the same because more people began job searches but not all of them found work. The government doesn't count people as unemployed unless they are actively searching for work

If you count those who have quit looking for work, it's around 22% - or so I've read n a few places.
It's really bad, and now due to Alabamacare, you can't find a fulltime job. If killing the economy was the goal, this admin is a smashing success.
Who's worried about immigration, they are going back across the border and virtually no new ones are trying to enter. chuckle.gif
That problem is solved now that the States is a third world country.

Why?

It sounds to me like people make up their minds regardless of the actual facts, what do you want them for?

Well good thing we do live in a socialist hellhole where the government is responsible for creating jobs.

Right?

Let me guess if only we simply followed your ideology then businesses would start hiring again?
