The funny thing is I keep hearing commercials on the radio touting all the investment opportunities there are to be had by getting in front of this "huge economic recovery" by investing in certain equities.

Question: Are there good times ahead? Can someone explain this to me?

Bottled water, canned goods, tobacco, pot, alcohol and firearms are the only investments I'd recommend anyone take advantage of.

A fool born every minute???,,,

Unlike Cyress,,,the USA doesn't have to rob the bank accounts,,,

we can just print what we want and inflate the currency away,,,

till no one saves any more,,,understand Canada was considering

robbing the saving accounts,,,too close to home,,,and would not

have imaged they would,,,and they still probably won't,,,gold and

silver would go up then,,,which both should have been bought long

ago,,,things getting better???,,,not sure why,,,pour enough play

money in and it looks good for a while,,,still,,,risky investments are

risky,,,and not paying enough interest to make up for the risk,,,

especially now...

Pennies in the USA cost from 2.4 cents to 8 cents to make

and distribute,,,depending on who you read,,,anyway,,,costs

more to make,,,then it is worth,,,want to play like everything is

fine,,,but the older copper ones are worth more,,,so might be

worth saving,,,for later,,,they are trading on ebay now,,,

not sure worth the shipping,,,but copper gets used to make stuff,,,

so could continue up,,,past metals,,,not sure what to invest in,,,

or that the economy is really going to get better,,,in the past

something pulled us out of recession,,,like the microprocessor,,,

dot com internet deal,,,things like that,,,not sure what is out there

like that now,,,if nothing,,,then we aren't going anywhere positive...

Like the alluring bright orange carrot hanging in front of the horse...

Mindlessly dragging someone elses heavy load to nowhere again and again...

Intentionally deceived and misled into always thinking and believing its next step will be the one that finally reaches its food...

Somewhere it never goes to receive something it never gets...

Question: Are there good times ahead? Can someone explain this to me?

I don't see any "huge economic recovery",,,

I do remember the summer when oil prices went to 150 dollars a barrel,,,

GoldmanSachs guy was on morning news every other morning,,,

saying,,,we see oil going to 180 dollars a barrel,,,

we see oil going to 200 dollars a barrel,,,

we see oil going to 250 dollars a barrel,,,

I do remember him saying that last one,,,

shortly after,,,Goldman sold all the oil they had stockpiled,,,

in Oklahoma and tankers off shore,,,price per barrel

dropped to 60 dollars a barrel,,,feel sorry for those

that bought oil futures based on what he said,,,they played

everyone,,,and on national TV,,,and they made a fortune,,,

therefore,,,if you don't have inside information,,,avoid most

investments,,,right now,,,interest low,,,risk high...

Yeah sure...basically the investment opportunities and job opportunities and whatever other opportunities that we hear the government controlled media puppets robotically spewing out their bloated pie holes on the radio and television are the alluring bright orange carrots and the suppressed middle class are the tax enslaved work horses with financially oppressed minds and lives those lies and deceptions and false hopes are being ruthlessly drilled into...

The thread title is correct with a little punctuation:

'...all the investment opportunities to "be had".'

And after you take the investment opportunities you will have "been had".
