I got those living in my house,,,

number varies,,,girl friend went into bathroom,,,

flipped on the light,,,and screamed,,,I went in

put my hand down and pushed it into my hand,,,

now she was really freaking out screaming,,,

put him in another room,,,told her let the harmless

ones live,,,so eat the bugs and stuff,,,and don't have

the harmful ones around,,,plus these guys will

kill them,,,she finally settled down,,,told her they are

wolf spiders,,,they are as big as the palm of your hand

here in New Mexico,,,anyway,,,week later I head for the

bathroom,,,she says "don't step on Wolfy",,,good girl,,,

Wolfy,,,never told her there were three...

It has been raining all day and I think that is why they come in.

We have Tarantulas down here alot too,,,

they get really big of course,,,used to have

one in the house as a pet,,,played with him

alot,,,he would get mad and show fangs but

never bit me,,,they are "harmless" too,,,

however I read that they can have

samunilla on their fangs,,,wolfs probably can too,,,

guess from rotten insect stuff on em,,,

anyway,,,I don't pick em up anymore...

The way to keep all bugs away is to get an electric plug in candle warmer. Then put a small glass dish on top and add salt. Be sure to plug in the warmer. :-) Your place will smell great and the bugs will leave or die.

Then put a couple drops of just about any essential oil such as citrus, lavender, eucalyptus, whatever you like. Don't use fragrance - get real aromatherapy oil otherwise you'll be poisoning yourself.

Outside we are surrounded by fire ants. They will NOT come inside even though there is an open bag of cat food by the door to feed a cat. The ants will eat the cat food when it is outside but there never come in.

When there are no bugs, there won't be any spiders either because there is nothing for them to eat.

Pray for me. hug.gif

spock.gif I did not know that. In Florida, a bag of cat food was palmetto bug heaven - they loved that stuff.

When you kill bugs it only makes it worse...at least where I live. If you remove them from your house they live to tell their buddies of your lack of malice and tend to stay out of the house. Maybe the bugs are just smarter here or maybe the other ones come in your house to eat the dead which can also be a result of killing water bugs (a type of roach that seeks water). You kill water bugs you'll get more water bugs, crickets, and ants because those species are pretty much omnivores and eat dead bugs. Spiders...not so much...maybe the wolf spiders though. The waterbugs here seem to have some mantis in them (from the look of their heads) which I guess makes them much smarter. They don't go after food they only go after puddles of water and they can sense it from many feet away (over 5 feet) somehow.

When you fight a war with species that procreate quickly and vastly you'll always lose.

I could not live and sleep comfortably anywhere while knowing those large spiderous creatures are crawling all over the place and many of them venomous...

Here in southern new england across the street from where i live back a few decades ago a man in his 50s was ripping out his old wooden front steps one summer afternoon and his wife about the same age brought him out something to eat and she stepped near where he was working and she was suddenly bitten by a black widow spider and she died later that night...

Driven into an early grave by a damn poisonous spider bite...

Quote:Studies have shown that you're never more than ten feet away from a spider, and one estimate puts you as close as three feet. To be "spider-free" you'd have to go into space in a fumigated capsule. Rather than flee, read these facts and appreciate our amazing arachnids.

Life is hard enough as it is with already way too many ways for us to die and get killed and then of course cruel heartless nature will ensure it makes life even more difficult for us by forcing billions of people to live their only lives worrying about poisonous spiders crawling around hiding in our shoes and sinking venomous fangs into our sleeping bodies or dropping from the ceiling or tree branches and landing in our hair...

Satans pets are spiders...
