racism is a very vague and nebulous word and in fact it is a most inappropriate to describe what is meant by it.
to me the word racism implies an intense dislike by one race of humans towards another race of humans
but why?

i think what is meant by the word racism is in fact Xenophobia??

Xenophobia has always existed since humanity started and xenophobia has always been a fear of strangers.
people from one village are xenophobic towards the people of the next village.
people of a prefecture are xenophobic towards the people of the adjoining prefecture
and people of a Country are xenophobic towards the people from the adjoining Country because they fear invasion and pillage and rape.

the problem that we have in this modern society is that people can travel easily and migration to other Countries and other cultures is also relatively easy to do and herein lays the problem.
Humans are inherently distrustful of foreigners when they are foisted upon them too quickly and in large numbers.
we become fearful and distrustful of others and we feel helpless because the governments all over the western world are imposing this on us and we have no say who is allowed to migrate to our countries and in what numbers.
we all love and are intrigued by foreigners coming to our country in small numbers. we love to interact with foreigners and exchange cultural knowledge and way of life and way of doing things and way of behaviour
we are very happy to make allowance and compensate for the behaviour of people from another country and another culture when they are in small numbers and we don't feel threatened by them.
The problem starts when an overwhelming number of foreigners is foisted upon a community and the original residents feel invaded and over run by xenos.
