Any chance of him signing up? I think we need a support group and they won't let me use their emails.
I'll speak with him about it ~ he's a little camera shy. He can't spell worth a shït either. But we'll see what we can do about it. He's supposed to get a "trim" this week.
Well...I've got the dig cam charging and I'll get an avatar cooked up tomorrow ~ at least it will be his 'before' look as an avvie.
He's a good boy ~ most laid back feller ~ he came here when he was 7 and about a day away from death due to neglect. He got along from day one with all our other critters. Took about a year for his coat to look like anything and we have his health issues taken care of. He's even really good about getting his poodle suit on ~ holds very still while I work the clippers ~ 'cept of course, for his ticklish feet.
If I had known poodles were such great dogs I'da had one before now ~ Curlie is a miniature ~ he was 14lbs/6.35kg when he came here and he's gained to 20lb/9.07kg, which is perfect, and 14"/36cm at the withers. I wouldn't mind having a standard poodle. (I just like larger dogs.)
I'll get him av'd up tomorrow.
I've never met one with a bad temper, like a Chihuahua for example.
Poodles are really smart puppies.

Most of our pets are rescues ~ Curly is really the only dog we've taken on as an adult dog. He was was in a bad family situation and sharing the home/yard with several much larger dogs, so when people stopped feeding them all, he didn't get much of anything. He was ill, flea infested and starving.
He rebounded fairly quickly and has always been good natured and good as gold. He's not terribly needy, nor is he skittish or unfriendly ~ so, I think the family situation was actually OK until the family went to hell (kids left for college, mom left dad, dad hauled ass, etc. and the animals fended for themselves.)
I've always just kinda' chalked it up to it seeming like we always just get the animals we are supposed to have. It always just works out. Hopefully, he'll have a long life ~ Lord knows, he seems to enjoy the one he has!
