I'm in my seventh decade on Earth. I know things.
Those Finns.

I don't think many know we had a presidential election yesterday.
Niinistö's landslide re-election victory breaks political records
The election that secured Sauli Niinistö a second six-year term as president on Sunday was historic for a number of reasons, but voter turnout wasn't one of them.
Sunday's presidential election made Finnish political history. A total of some 1,874,344 voters chose the incumbent head of state Sauli Niinistö — more than any candidate has ever received in the first round.

It's indicative of a general feeling that a portion of the Finns are not exactly thrilled about the current state of things.
It's a pretty respectable showing actually, and a real upset to many.

Most parties put up their own presidential candidate, but not all. You don't even need to run for a party, but then you need 20 000 signatures. Sauli Niinistö ran as an independent. We had 8 candidates altogether.
