I think if we all tried to relax and tune in to our mind, body and soul, we'd find that we all have the ability to healing ourselves. Lately, though, I have been listening to less bad world news and inputting more positivity through various means. It really makes a difference to my state of mind.

An easy method to calm down any time of day, even at work, for me has been to;

breathe in for 8 seconds through your nose, hold it for 8 seconds, then exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds.

repeat. This is a method proven to lower both your heart rate and blood pressure.

I don't do that specific breathing exercise at work when I am stressed. What I do is while I am going for a walk at break I will deep breathe, in and out through the mouth, slowly...almost like long sighs and it seems to help. But, I will try that breathing exercise Octo, as it reminds me of the yoga deep-breathing exercises I use to do in my younger days.
