Many more here: thechive.com

I'd love to do one of these at some point. What a great summerhouse that would make up here.

When i was younger we use to build tree house forts out in the woods behind my grandmothers house and have rock fights and bottle rocket battles with our enemies the neighborhood punk kids down the street who were inside their tree fort shooting back at us,yeah like we didnt f##k around back then, riding bicycles and dirt bikes with no helmets and playing on rusted metal playgrounds and having sword fights with iron pipes and building ramps to try daredevil jumping over streams with ten speed bikes ect ect (*-*)

Tree Houses appeal to the kid in all of us.

There was a series I ran into last year on one of the cable channels (sorry, I cannot recall) about this dude and his crew that did nothing but tree houses, either new or refurbs ~ in all locales ~ he could take something in a metro patio and make you feel like you were in the woods. chuckle.gif

Endless creativity.

It's too bad a lot of local ordinances prohibit building a tree house on your own property, and in cases where you can, lord have mercy if they catch you building one without a permit.
The permit will cost more to obtain than the tree house would cost to build.
It just depends on where you live, but here's a good example of what can happen at the link...

Never fails to blow my mind away and enrages me to no end thinking about how these overpaid overblown overrated political elites sit around dreaming up evermore (totally unnecessary) ways to suck money out of us,like we cant even have a damn yard sale here without first going up town (or is it down town?) and coughing up some cash and if we didnt do that first (bow down and obey) the (lacking real police work around here) cops would actually show up and forcibly shut our yard sale down! because as far as tptb are concerned "No One Will Make Any Money Without Us Getting Our Legally Extorted Cut" the friggin two faced back stabbing bastards (*==*)
