Is it reliable and easy to use.
Advantages?

The only advantage is it MAY hide your location.
The NSA runs a shitload of exit node servers so they can keep close watch, and keep in mind it was orig. developed by the Dept. of the Navy.
Personally, I use it on Linux to test security holes, but as a browser it's dreadfully slow.

I've never used it on the surface web. I've only used it trying to check out the irritating ass deep web, But yeah, it's slower than congress. And you can still be tracked. There are other steps you can take to secure it more. I can't remember what they are, but it is easy enough to find out. Then there is the part where you are flagged just for downloading it.

Thank you both for your timely replies.
I believe that everything is tracked and logged, I was just wondering if it was more efficient.
I guess not.

I agree. Everything is monitored. Even Tor is traceable no matter what you do. It used to be completely safe, but not any more. In fact, I read a story just last week where a man was arrested for CP because his internet provider called the FBI to report him. It is good he was caught, but that means that you have absolutely no expectation of privacy at all.
