So when something goes wrong, you blame the other party, when you should be looking to the people pulling the strings of the politician Muppets. Thats how they do what they want divide and conquer.
But Harper, (excuse the language) is a slimy foul cretin. Who would never had been elected under a system of proportional representation, unfortunately, Canada like the UK (only two nations in the world that use this crap system) has a First past the post system - which has over 200 years served the interests of Banker class.
The current system is rigged, if it were changed smaller parties would have a larger say in what should happen in their area. Case in point -
Quote:Feds sell Candu nuclear reactor business for $15M
OTTAWA - The Conservative government has sold its Candu nuclear reactor business to Montreal-based SNC-Lavalin for a paltry $15 million, effectively writing off tens of billions of dollars Canadians have invested in the Crown corporation over the past 60 years.
Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver announced the sale of Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd.'s (AECL) commercial division on Wednesday, saying it was the "best deal in a difficult domestic and international environment.".... torontosun
Billions of Taxpayer money spent on a dangerous energy source, has now been sold for a pittance. So expect your energy bills to increase as well.

You make the assumption I'm a liberal because I don't like harper when I clearly said liberals and conservatives are two sides of the same coin. Conservatives still take your tax money but they're better at it because they blame it on the liberals. The source numbers from that chart are from Department of Finance and Public Accounts of Canada and no I certainly would not expect to find that on a pro-conservative site lol. Your hostility is nothing new to me but your strawman argument is.hostility? if you think that I'm be hostile to you? then you need to turn off your computer and go and hide under a rock, but yeah you do come across as a Liberal but in reality you're probably an ndp'er.. anyways no political party is perfect and this is why we citizens vote we are the ones who can make a change for the better and yes they're all crooks
