...A CEMENT SIDEWALK. Just saying...

The next time you hear someone say Zimmerman killed an unarmed child remember the cement sidewalk that the varsity football player was using.

One ding of the head more could have caused Z to pass out or black out.

One strike of his neck on the cement sidewalk's edge had the potential to cause paralysis from the neck down.

Trayvon wasn't unarmed; he was using his arms to turn the sidewalk into a weapon.

Good idea.hi5.gif

Make people pass a background check before walking on it or slamming someone's head into it.

In Reversal, Florida Judge Okays Testimony About Trayvon Martin’s Marijuana Usage

Jurors in the George Zimmerman murder trial will be able to hear defense testimony that Trayvon Martin had small amounts of marijuana in his system at the time he was shot to death in February 2012.

In a ruling this afternoon, Judge Debra Nelson rejected a prosecution request to bar a portion of a toxicology report that revealed Martin had been smoking pot at some point prior to Zimmerman killing him with a single gunshot to the heart.

In today's after-court hearing it appears there was stuff on Martin's cell phone under a password protected file where he talks about various fights he's been involved in.

It's unlikely to be allowed as evidence, but the truth does come out.

I just read his mom had kicked him out of the house, several text messages to him about getting his guns and dope out of there.
As evidence... dunno.gif The judge did allow the pot, which I actually see as a bit irrelevant. Most people don't get violent from that, and it seems pretty flimsy.

Tayvon's weapon was Zimmermans gun he was going for after he saw it when said "You're a dead man".

Shooting was completely justified.

I had my doubts before but the footage of the on scene testimony from Zimmerman pretty much seals it but its all a big cluster ğck issue now so everyone wants to see it their way.

I don't think it was such a good deal for Alabama to get involved in it. This crap happens every day and doesn't get this level of attention.

All other points surrounding the case and character assessment is completely moot.

...all you need to know is if Zimmerman's telling of it in detail on site not long after the incident is truth and it sounds like truth to me and is corroborated by the evidence.

Case of self defense plain and simple. It doesn't matter who brought the gun to the fight.

If you try to go for a cops gun is he justified in shooting you? absolutely.

You don't wait for someone to get hands on your gun first and then try and shoot them... that;s just stupidity.

If trayvon threatened to take his weapon which I think is implied when he told him "you're gonna die" then the shooting was justified whether or not he got the chance to try and grab the gun or not.

Let's not forget the sidewalk. The cement/concrete sidewalk was also Trayvon's weapon. One more knock on Z's noggin could have easily caused him to black out.

The ptb want rioting. Z will be acquitted and there'll be black ops making sure rioting happens.

Yeah yeah yeah we know...guilty of walking while black means you can be executed. Guess you can't get so offended when cops do it to everyone else because everyone's armed with deadly weapons (i.e. concrete).

Self defense only matters legally and morally when you don't put yourself in a situation of your own creation and only proportional to the force being used against you. Otherwise people could just shoot you dead for even having a weapon (such as a gun or knife) in public if they feel threatened, which we wouldn't want would we? Guy put himself in a situation that negates any self-defense argument with a firearm because he put himself in that situation.

So yeah...derp.
