Talk about hypocrisy because they are acting in the same manner as the other news media staff - one-sided thinking. Everyone should question any leader's words or intentions if only for clarity, if there is no clarity to be had, then debate is in order.

Maybe this could be another way of looking at this?: Could the fact that a segment of GOP leaders are opposed to Trump is actually evidence that Trump is a good guy? It's no secret at this point that the GOP leadership is all about the lard. They have deep longstanding relationships with the worst of TPTB. Those folks are happy so long as everybody gets paid.

It's worth reiterating that Trump wants to REDUCE nukes in the US and the USSR. This has been a perennial issue that the Dems have supported for all of my lifetime. I'll be 68 years young in a couple weeks.

Trump decides to back their fervent issue, yet the Dems turn on him saying he has gone soft. The GOP hardliners are also miffed.

Trump also advocates REDUCING our troop presence in Europe. That's another Democrat promise.

Democrats have led the fight to lower the thermostat between the US and Russia. Trump jumped up and turned the dial.

Exactly. Go back and watch coverage of the campaign. You will see those same GOP members and media bashing Trump. They didn't back him until he won and they saw the writing on the wall.  It was a half-hearted support and they are part of the problem. The vast majority of them need to be replaced. (I am a strong supporter of term limits.)

US, did you watch that last video?

If you mean the fox news vid then I watched the beginning where they dissed other media and I decided not to continue due to the hypocrisy and how disingenuous it was. At this point, I am just waiting to see what will happen and use facts and common sense as my guide.

Does that mean you won't support Trump's efforts to reduce US and Russian nukes? How about reducing our military presence in Europe - will you support Trump's efforts to accomplish that? Will you speak favorably about those two Trump policies?

When did I speak unfavourably about any of his planned efforts? Stop posting untruths. I have always said that it is always a wait and see game with me and that trying is not doing. I consider that to be a realistic comment because he's done nothing yet. It takes two or more to tango.
