Quote: Trump’s cautious approach to legalization is based on uncertainty, as he sees it, about the impact of legal marijuana use on people’s health.

Why isn't anyone educating Trump on this?

Our President has to endure mainstream media flooding the population with criticism upon every move he makes.
There's bigger issues than reefer right now.
We've got to stop the Mexican cartel from bringing in all of the Heroine and Methamphetamine FIRST!

Those are huge real problems that actually kill people, pot's only a problem to Jeff Sessions. 15.gif
Legalization of herb at the Federal level is coming, I look for it to become more of a real issue after 2018.

Quote:An appeals court ruled last week that a federal law prohibiting medical marijuana cardholders from purchasing guns does not violate their Second Amendment rights, because marijuana has been linked to "irrational or unpredictable behavior."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk...a116278dc2

It boggles the mind when most medical-grade marijuana has low THC levels.

Quote:First, he said, “psychotropic drugs of pretty well any group can trigger violence up to and including homicide.”

“Second, the advocates of treatment claim both that it is the illness and not the drugs that causes violence and that we are leaving huge numbers of people untreated.”

Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2012/12/psych-meds-li...MkkiPxf.99

Quote:Congress chooses to ignore the clear association between psychiatric drug use and crimes of utterly depraved violence against the innocent, even school children (as in the Sandy Hook horror)

Unfortunately, the men and women elected to protect and serve us are more interested in the campaign contributions to be gleaned from big drug companies. In 2012, an average of $29,000 was given to congressmen and women, and $45,000 per senator from Big Pharmaceutical companies. And these same drug companies spent $240 million lobbying Congress.

In the words of Dr. Peter Breggin, a psychiatrist (and whistleblower for his own profession) “Huge efforts have been made by the pharmaceutical industry to prevent the public and the health professions from knowing that antidepressant drugs can cause violence and suicide.”

Dr. Breggin also states “Psychiatry is a cause and not a cure for mass violence, and looking for help from psychiatry will only distract us from seeking genuinely effective solutions.”

It is time to listen to Dr. Breggin, and to others like him who are brave enough to state the truth about psychiatric medication.

What about guns and alcohol, or for that matter, hunting and alcohol?

You missed my point completely. It has to do with hypocrisy within the laws, not anti-gun laws.

Let me put it this way. On the .gif the guy on the left is federal law, the guy on the right is smoking medical marijuana and the spitting represents his rights at gun ownership trying to be snuffed out and played with.

Good analogy but the guy on the left is actually blowing, feeding the flame, not spitting it out.

Truth is, people will have to choose between substance abuse and gun ownership.

Millennials will probably choose the substance and be lulled away from the importance of the latter.

So, you're right.

Actually, it's not.
Alcohol is legal and regulated.
It can be measured in the bloodstream and
the symptoms are obvious.

Marijuana stays in the blood and effectives of skill impairment are more difficult to detect.
In many States, it's still illegal.

I wouldn't want a doctor or machine operator all wacko on the devil's cabbage.

Would you?
