and i am certainly NOT the only person who watched it happen

and it was NOT the only time it happened

Desert Night time sky

clear
everything was in sight
including the Milky way

Full Moon

The moon seemed huge as though it was closer then ever before

I'm a Sky watcher addicted wiseguy

I'm checking out the moon
thinking : Man, I haven't seen the craters on the moon so clear since i was a
Hanes Underwear sportin' kidster

From the far side of the Moon i see a ball of light leaving a contrail stream behind
it , come circling the moon and down onto the surface .

WTF !wave.gif and yes, i waved at it

never though too much about it

well , with my back ground
witnessing some at 250K miles away ain't nuthin to me

Same year
1,500 miles away at Lake Merwin Washington

2:00 am

I am sitting sideways on my pickup trucks front seat
looking out over the lake

a mile wide

over the Opposite Mountain comes a HUGE fireball with sparks flying off it's tail

It is moving really slow for an Ariel Object

it passes behind my truck and over the Mountains to the east

it came straight from the North headed south

Next few days
I pay attention to the news

Nothing said

so " F " it i say and live on

a few days later at the exact same spot

BIGFOOT , right dead center of the little dirt road in front of me at 10 feet

oh well ,, just another Rog' Type day in the life

Nice.

As a kid I had a telescope and sometimes would see flashes of light on the surface. Certainly they could be meteor strikes, but I always wondered what if... hmm.gif
