Well I'm not THAT old that I have any personal experiences, but I have to say yes. Not that I think that has anything to do with gender, it just seems to me this equality thing is a very modern phenomenon. Back in the days women did their job and men did theirs and either was worth more than the other.

Comment I found

Syrian TV live broadcast says no attack on Government headquarters. Has RT suddenly changed sides or hackers have taken over this site to post stories because of the heavy traffic here? Stories that had over +100 yesterday are now showing -50 votes by readers today. Seems like RT is being hijacked since the announcement that they are the most visited news site on Youtube beating other MSM and I think that the corporate media will fight back as they can not afford to loose their dominance to a Russian network.

RT is the Russian equal to Foxnews. They check with their masters for marching orders in the same manner.

Amazing, just like the intact passports in the burning rubble of the towers after 9/11. amazing how those things can survive, when everything else is vaporized.

Syrian Opposition Leader Seen Leaving Bilderberg Conference

quoted by the newswire AFP: "The next step needs to be a resolution under Chapter VII, which allows for the use of all legitimate means, coercive means, embargo on arms, as well as the use of force to oblige the regime to comply."

Women's voting and suffrage just as a random example to point
out..umhh...false national romantic mythology, as I said.

Changed for the better?
There was a brief period of new, true freedom of thought around here
those years, early 1900's, it seems, before the Great War, the Bolshevik
revolution and the Finnish Civil War ended it.

Personally, I do understand that with "democratic" organization follow
the POO's various modi operandi; the Novus Ordo Seclorum quickly infiltrated
the Finnish political class up through the 1920's.
Just look at the female perfect Bilderberger-bots who run the nation today.

To grasp the folkly balance between the sexes in this country...well, haha,
let's just say Finnish women are - Finnish women.
We got our national independence in 1917 - were still a Russki protectorate
for 11 more years after women got the vote. Says something about priorities.

Changed for the better?
Hehheh...nothing is new under the sun.
But in 1912, my grandmother started her 12 hour shift job at the tobacco factory.
She was 12 years old. For perspective.

The Kalevala is so much wiser than any bible or q'uran.
"Alussa oli nainen."
('In the beginning was woman')

Sorry for derailing thread.
