The AP article goes on to paint a rosy picture, tossing out words like growth, robust, and unnamed analysts who claim "stronger growth will endure through the rest of the year as the economy derives help from improved job growth, rising consumer spending and a rebound in business investment."
Uh huh. I'll wait for the actual numbers to turn around before hopping on the robust recovery train. I'm amazed that this is the lowest growth stat I've ever seen, yet this is conveying the message "recovery from the Great Recession" is right around the corner, never mind the statistics.
