yesterday's $35 billion 2 Year auction, today's $35 billion in 5 Years, and soon, tomorrow $29 billion in 7 Years, total US debt subject to limit will be $14.258 trillion: just one auction away, or $35 billion, from breaching the debt ceiling. Also, the total debt, not just that subject to the ceiling, could pass the legal threshold as early as tomorrow (pro forma for settlement).

They will probably backdoor a new debt ceiling rolled in quietly in an unrelated bill or some hush hush session. They will do anything rather than admit what most know already, it all goes back to insolvency.
This is totally unsustainable.

Oh yeah, they always make a big media circus of protesting lifting the debt ceiling but it always goes through.

They held up the passing of the patriot act for 48 hours, as a ğkkin' courtesy. It was never allowed to lapse. What a joke this broke dick system of enslavement is.

As you know, the NYT reported Friday morning that GE paid no federal income taxes on $14 billion in profit in 2010. Friday night, NBC News, owned by GE, chose not to cover the story, opting instead to give precious air time to new dictionary entries LOL and 'muffin top.'

So the meaning of 'LOL' and 'muffin top' is much more important than the fact that GE not only did not pay a single dime in taxes, the received a 3.5 billion tax credit!

Go muffin top Go!!! chuckle.gif
