Video editing and such....

Since before I can remember, whenever I hear certain music my imagination would on its own create something like a music video without really effort on my part; I think the psychological term for such conditions is called 'racing thoughts' and is partly connected to my ADHD. Anyways, I never thought much about it until I realized video editing software  was inexpensive enough and copyrights laws allow the cutting and using of various movies, videos, ect for people to make their own music and/or anime music videos that I considered giving it a try.

The only problem is that right now I'm out of work, have little to no resources, and nearly no experience fiddling around with video files and such. To be honest I don't enough know if anyone would be interested in the stuff I could make and/or if it would be worth my time but then again I won't know unless I try. I guess the reason I'm even bothering to create this thread is that some people on this forum value my input on stuff and I feel someone my know something  or at least know the right direction to point me to find what I need.

I say go for it! You can rent Adobe Premiere for 19.99 a month http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere.html
This is the creme de la creme of video editing programs.
I'd certainly be interested in what you come up with.

Seems we have a thing or two in common, dclements.

Workarounds for the workarounds, when one is on a
zero budget.

Takes patience and nerves of steel.

I don't think Premiere is anything you want to start out with to be honest.

There's another thread about this with suggestions on free video editing software. Let me try to find it for you.

I've heard the free version of Lightworks is pretty good.
