Octo was running 8.1 with no updates, we installed the patch MS issued today.
The other two machines are on 10, so we're good.
As far as nuke plants...

I would have thought they run on Linux with specialty software... apparently the cheap mother forkers are still on xp.
In all fairness to Microsoft, they did issue a patch for XP even though  the OS is no longer supported and kudos for doing the right thing, but how many actually patched it?
Those patches don't install themselves.

I heard a lot of CT sites are down?

Haven't heard of any sites being down, normally servers are running Linux in some form or another.
If anyone is running a Windows server prior to Windows 10 there's no one to blame but themselves.
Windows servers should be avoided like the plague.

Anyway...
popcorn2.gif Today's fallout from this should be interesting to watch.
I predicted this was going to happen as soon as those NSA hacking tools hit the public.

This was the first incident that made me happy to be on Windows 10. Other than this I wish I would have kept 7.

It should not affect most Windows servers. They patched all the way back to Windows Server 2003, most companies have newer versions.

For reals...

Keep up, people.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
