I was told not all eggs are the same, but I read an article which said that, yes, all eggs are the same. I don't think all eggs are the same.

Farm fresh eggs are horrible to peel. Steam them and the shells come right off. coffeetime.gif

You need to experiment. I think about 15 min for soft boiled and 22 for hard boiled. It takes longer than boiling but it does work.

Well, steaming takes 4X longer, so I'll keep boiling and peeling them my way. What I do is boil till yolk is hard (I just know when they are hard, have never timed it) then plunge immediately into cold water. Then peel under running cold water...no problems ever.
