He noted that there are several bipartisan bills to protect the special counsel.

Speculation is Mueller has nothing, and the raid on Trump's lawyer was to try to get Trump to knee jerk, fire him and the ensuing shit storm would be enough to propel Democrats to win the House and Senate.

FBI is looking for illegal campaign contributions and who knows what else. Basically, they're looking for anything to pin on him since the collusion investigation is a giant fiasco and if they come up with nothing, they'll hand him the second term just like that.
