Things have gotten very bad very quick. Just wait until the oil stops flowing and the food supply chain breaks down.
This could be chaos unlike anything the world has ever seen.

Found it, wasn't China but Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong-based Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (AsiaSat) has taken all Iranian channels off air in East Asia.

great post. It looks like we could be seeing the start of a much wider conflict. It would be great to hear whats going on behind closed doors. The EU and America are subsidising Egypt yet the Muslim Brotherhood is showing solidarity with its offshoot in Gaza. All these machinations show is an attempt to unify Islam under a common denominator. And yet the Persians are still to show their hand...

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

The Persians won't show their hand because the deck will be immidiately stacked against them. They have a central bank and lots of sweet crude, doesn't matter what they do. Or don't do.

The BBC was forced to issue another humiliating apology today - this time to Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks.

The Corporation said sorry to Lord Sacks after mistakenly broadcasting his unguarded comments accusing Iran of being part of the Gaza conflict.

Appearing on the Today programme broadcast this morning Lord Sacks was asked by presenter Evans Davis for his reaction to the situation in Gaza immediately after delivering the daily Thought for the Day.

He initially sighed and responded: 'I think it's got to do with Iran, actually.'

Doesn't look like a world war.

The Iranian situation is 2 or 3 tactical deep penetrators away from a solution.

Don't like relationship of Gaza and Israel. Small child with stick vs lion. If the child had been taught manners the child wouldn't poke the lion with a stick. Fairly soon the lion runs out of patience and any action it takes looks like overkill.

Solution is to train small child, not punish lion - or maybe punish both.

If Iran is found to be the reason for the misbehaving child - then we are back to "the Iranian situation is only 2 or 3..."
