I was compelled to buy a one of a kind 65 inch snake twisted tree of heaven branch. Its will be mine soon I have the fine wood carving tools to bring the snake to life around the staff after I carve & coat my staff. I will brass screw two silver pieces at each end then use 550 paracord around the handle area. I sense this will help me in future jouneys. I love hiking and feel & dream of the perfect energy staff.

Just go hiking and find one lying around, that's what I did...it may take a few attempts, but your stick is out there waiting for you.

For me, a hiking stick is a hit or miss thingie, and it has taken me a long time to find one. But, you have to hike with it for it to be the right 'one'.

You are lucky to have one that you like. I am hoping this is the one for me I was very compelled to it and have only seen one other that I liked this one is more compelling to me than that one I saw a wizard with. The balance & feel is important I hope this is it.

I just go for hikes and pick up branches and such, until I find the right fit. Many hikers do the work for you, and toss the ones that don't fit them close to the path, and you never know if they have tossed away the perfect stick for you.
