I saw that the FOX & friends crew had complaints about how hot it was in Helsinki and they said the Finns "aren't real big on AC"

Right now at 7:30 in the evening it's 30+ (86+) degrees in the shade. It was about 34 (93) in the afternoon. And there's no fkn wind at all. The ac at work does not work and everyone who knows anything about it is on vacation. I bought a baby pool though so there's that...

Praying the fire. It's actually cold here because well a hive attempt to bypass it/manipulate it. They don't like the fire. True story.

Yeah well, it's normally not this warm for a long period of time. All ac units and fans are sold out both here and in Sweden chuckle.gif We ordered a small cooling unit from Germany today, You know weather's going to cool down big time by the time it arrives 13.gif

I told JR to be patient because in a couple of weeks you will be complaining about the cold weather and snow. chuckle.gif

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

We are off-grid in Southern Greece and it's hotter'n hell, but we use a misting fan, which is basically an electric fan that blows a fine mist of water. It can drop the temperature in a room by up to 8 degrees c and they are cheap to buy - think around $100.00

I recommend them to anyone suffering with this crazy heat.

It has been so hot and dry here that my province is on fire. There are many uncontrolled fires and I am watching one very close to my home. It is raining today and but it seems that is not enough moisture to quell the fires. I discussed evacuation procedures with everyone yesterday because my sis has 12 cats to think about too.

The bottom last red (extreme) fire symbol on the right is very close to where our home is.

Oh my... You and yours stay safe US.
We're dangerously warm and dry as well, it's a little scary to be honest and I'm sure it's the same for you.
