If a stained glass window in a church in Sunderland is to be believed, then Jesus was a ginger.

If true, it means the Lord Jesus Christ may have been the first in a long line of famous gingers[...]

The depiction of Jesus as a redhead could cause a stir in some circles, as a number of less than saint-like biblical characters were depicted as having red hair.

Judas, Satan, Eve (after eating the apple) and Cain have all been portrayed as redheads, while Jesus is more commonly portrayed as having brown hair.[...]

Warning, they make you take a one button quiz to read, just choose "None of the above."

What's the difference between a ginger and a vampire?

One is a pale, bloodsucking creature that avoids the sun.

The other is a vampire. lol.gif

Maybe but I think His blood type was more controversial. Either He evolved or had different DNA. Unusual old blood types DNA not normal two stand has been sampled lab tested from known bleed or death area of Jesus. And old dried blood of 2000 years can be scraped from rock & checked. And this blood does not much up to basic Human strains.

I'm still amazed he is depicted as white. I cycled around the sea of Galiliee (Lake Tiberias) and stopped at all the monasteries and the only white guys were me and my travelling companion at the time apart from those at the Kibbutz we stayed at.

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

I seriousely cannot make sense of this topic !!!
Unless it is meant to make kids or immature people laugh.

Needless to say, 2000 years ago people pictured Jesus the way they wanted or felt, and I would not be surprised if there was just 1 who could describe Him [or anybody] on a painting. I think I do not have to say how inheritance of information changes from A to Z over the times, at one time it will become gossip or fantasy.

I myself if I see a modern portrait of a person whom I don't know, I would allow a margin of error. What I see on a stained glass and inside of the church dome I would ofcourse allow the margin to be fat as a cow.
After all, they pictured many more persons like Ceasar, Aristotle, Alexander the great, Atilla the hun, Cleopatra, and much more. Meantioning Cleopatra, the way they describe her is like she have had the best features of Maryln Monroe, Sophia Loren and Megan Fox together. There's no doubt she was Miss World of all times.
