Coach of the year, my butt, you looked clueless on the sideline, Reid.

... and the entire secondary should be fired along with defensive coach. Anyone who didn't get a intercept should be kicked out. Allowing 5 touchdowns in less than 2 quarters for a record comeback Colts win against you shows incredible ineptitude!

You have cured me of being a football fan.

When you think about it, the phenomena of fandom can be reduced to an addiction to the colors and icons of the team and nothing else. The players, coaches, everything, changes from season to season and the players are not even from the local area, so fandom is really kind of stupid.

Red vs. Blue and we get excited about it for some reason.

Life is like a penny, you can spend it on what you like, but you can ONLY spend it once.

I'd say going from 2-15 one season to 11-5 with a playoff spot the next is pretty damn good. I guess some people are never happy.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

I can see what you mean. The KC fans should be the most disappointed fans to this point. The Chiefs AND their fans were riding high at 9-0...then skid into the playoffs on poopy skivvies with a 2-5 finish and a piss poor traveling wildcard spot. Plenty of teams were wishing they had won 11 games this season. But...to blow a 28 point lead and look like a team that had it's defense leave the stadium at half time is a major slap in the face to all their fans. I can guarantee that even if they don't say it to the cameras...the team knows they totally blew a 9-0 start only to be humiliated in the playoffs in one of the biggest let downs by a defense in NFL history. No REAL football fan enjoys the 9-0 start when they see their team basically fall apart at the end of the season AND THEN look no better than a Division II collegiate team for half of a playoff game. NOBODY in KC is walkin around with their hands in their pocket and head down kickin a rock and saying, "golly gee...we'll get em next year".

Their rivals the Chargers on the other hand...finished with 4 wins in a row for a 9-7 record AND traveled to Cincy AND beat a pretty good Bengals team that hadn't lost at home all year. All fans wish for a super bowl bid at the beginning of the season...but it's a guarantee that Charger fans expected none of the prosperity their team has found themselves in. They're still in the hunt and win OR lose...their fans have been on top of the world and will have some kind of hope for a good team next yr as opposed to KC fans that looked like someone had taken their favorite toy away after that embarrassing finish.

Being a Seahawk fan myself in Seattle...my expectations are rarely more than just PLEASE make it to the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may. Seattle sports history has conditioned me to not take it quite as hard as fans with storied teams and their championship seasons of the past.

See ya next year KC LOSERS. chuckle.gif

GO S E A H A W K S!!!

What I think about AND what I see from people that because they don't have the same interests, likes, beliefs or hobbies as someone else is a need to sh!t on others for theirs. AND that their superiority complex has them walking around with their nose stuck up high enough to block the sun with a certain arrogance and belief that their cheese doesn't stink.

It's a legitimate observation about the nature of fanatic sports following.
Ask the question "Why do I follow this team?" You might discover it's the shiny helmet and logo.
