Time to start brewing some cold chill coffee for Summer. I take a nice small French press with heavy course light roast and chill over night press when ready to drink ad ice almond coconut milk and maybe honey. Be careful cold brewed coffee is 4 x the potency that hot brew.

My coffee is always piping hot, french pressed using adventurous mixtures of different beans from the supermarket...a little of this, a little of that, a hint of that....yum.

Just recalled reading this...

Quote:On a scorching summer day, you're probably more likely to grab an iced coffee than a steaming cup of joe. But a study has shown that drinking a hot beverage on a hot day actually can cool you down. How?

Yes but our stomach and brain can overheat. The stomach will happy absorb cold fluids if the body is overheating. And yes hot items can cool you down by working the sweat glands over not a good idea if you ate overheating and sweating already. The brain and body should stay close in temp a hot head a cold body can weaken the system to fatigue.

After a sauna, when overheating would be the only cause of overheating in Finland, I like a cold beer. But a cup of coffee works too if there's no beer for some reason hmm.gif

Well If I lived in a colder climate all the time I would only drink hot spiked coffee. I'm in So Cal dessert coast and must regulate my hybred body so it stays well and ready to fight evil. I confront demon possessed tards that hate and want to fight a human Angel of the light. I must stay sharp fast & light to survive in the concrete jungle of the times.

Fighting evil is a spiritual thing, not a physical one.

Maybe so but I feel drains physically from the alignment somtimes body & mind dealing with evil street thugs. I do some Security and physical altercation is a last resort but I'm always ready to protect by force if necessary. I will Barrow there energy and flow it back upon them . I must stay above this and that balance to keep the dragon in is a challenge if my blood flow gets adrenalin pumpinig.

The beans I bought last week are a little blah, have a vanilla flavor and I detest flavored coffee. Try something else or go back to my fav kick ass beans

How do you make cold coffee?

Do you first make coffee and then like not drink it or something?

No they are two different brews cold brew never uses hot water. Cold brew is more stronger and better tasting of a fresh bean roast. YouTube has good vids on how to brew cold coffee. Hot brew chilled is gross.
