Omg... I didn't know ice cream is dog crack damned.gif

So yesterday we went to the store to stock up on beer and other vitals for the weekend. We were pretty much the end of the line as the checkout guy closed up after us. Sooo...we couldn't help but notice somebody left a big tub of Ben&Jerry's Vanilla Cookie Dough Ice Cream behind damned.gif
I probably don't even have to explain how expensive that is around here. I don't know, I have to check next time. gaah.gif

We're obviously both thinking we earned some extra karma points so we just brought the poor abandoned ice cream home.

Now, we're not much of ice cream eating people so Mason hasn't really realized this new dimension of life... until last night damned.gif

Now he's hounding me, being a real pain in the ass energetic and keeps leading my attention towards the freezer gaah.gif

And the ice cream truck stops just by our house... İmage chuckle.gif

Better give him some Ben and Jerrie's before he slips you a puppy push-up.

37.gif Ben and Jerry's apparently changes the hard wiring of the mammalian brain in some fashion the medical establishment hasn't got the testicular fortitude to investigate. 13.gif

To truly appreciate B&J, not to be confused with a ßj..., you need to let it sit at room temp for at least 5 minutes to soften before you eat it.

It's the high fat content that makes it so creamy and good just like Bacon. Except for the creamy part.

See? Fat IS good!

Hey our freezer is so cold I let it sit out for 30 minutes hyper.gif But speaking of fat is good, funny you should say that, I had this article with my morning latte coffeetime.gif

The best lard that money can buy

Quote:animal fats contain antiviral and antibiotic properties.

A little lard a day to keep the doctor away? It takes some persuading, given that most of us have been brought up to fear saturated fats. While it is true that we should watch the quantity we eat every day, they are essential to the diet of a healthy person.

Both lard and dripping contain palmitic and stearic fatty acids, important for energy metabolism and normal growth. Conjugated linoleic acids in animal fats (including butter) can also help reduce body fat.
