I can't believe I am saying this.. but this post from Doodie on LOP makes sense..

I question the general assumption that felines are inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure.

Could it be possible for IP lists from the forums to be compiled and connectiions those IPs make online to be interupted?

That would take a fairly high level of sophistication though wouldn't it? and it would be in combination with other moves like knocking some of these sites offline to further generate a reaction from everyone which then coupled with individuals have problems elsewhere could lead to much speculation and rumor circulation?

...is it all just some sort of experiment!damned.gif

What and I'm not banned? :)

Basically he was saying websites aren't loading randomly..his cable tv has been going in and out.. just saying all of his electronics have been acting weird.

Depends on the level from which you think it is being targeted.. for example.. if someone could hash out a wide enough attack vector.. they could theoretically infect all of the systems that frequent any website.. with some doing..

The problem would be the payload.. would need to be OS specific.. the majority of users would be using Windows 7, though, so technically a rootkit could be used to C&C the machine.. and essentially control all aspects from there?

I question the general assumption that felines are inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure.

Maybe it's the work of some mischievous AI?

I've seen some creepy crawly things happen before associated with these sites that lack any conventional explanation.

What are you implying, exactly? Some superhacker at work here from his basement?

There are some things lurking on the interwebs that have no specific location.

I've seen it in action before. Maybe it has grown since then!
