There's no 'vive la difference' ethos here?

Well yes there is! We're all different, but we generally get along just fine anyway without making issues out of it.

How do I become a conformist?

What is the proper way to conform here?

I think most people here are non-conformists so I wouldn't go for that.

Au contraire, you seem like conformists to me.

Is there a degree in that, do I need to pay for an eddification in conformism

None to my knowlege have volunteered to be subject to a holier POV. Have an opinion? State it but don't condemn others for having a different outlook. Don't be an asshole that calls others names and berates their IQs. Don't assume YOUR standard is the one and only. It's everything you were supposed to learn in Kindergarten ~ be nice, color inside the lines, don't run with scissors and don't shït in the sandbox. When you get cranky, take a nap and have some milk and cookies and then you'll be fit to play with the other kids.

It doesn't seem to me you're interested in "fitting in"

Actually it mostly seems to me we all feel like being born outside the box and DON'T fit in. It's nothing you need to make an effort in doing, just be yourself. It's quite ok to not fit in, because what the hell is there to fit into?

Fitting in should be irrelevant if you are real. Bloodletting is reserved for screwballs my friend. 13.gif

I just prefer to know sooner, rather than later about who can or cannot be included in seemingly inclusive sites.

...and please, if you or any of your acquaintance should go on to have children with disabilities, please put them up for adoption, it would be kinder, plenty of people do want and will adopt such kids. Wouldn't want to embarrass yourselves with kids who don't fit in eh? Best solution all round.

Oh, FFS, give it a rest.

Disabilities are another topic and you do not know who posting in this forum may or may not have 1st hand experience with any variety of disabilities.

If you are functioning well enough to engage the internet and post in a forum you are functioning well enough to be held accountable for your statments. Beauty of it is, YOU get to OWN each and every one of them you make here ~ there are no left-overs or stray opinions at the end of the day.

It's really hard to discuss any topic with you Blather since you jump from one issue to another.

I have friends with disabled kids and they're doing a damned good job taking care of them. And they're not worried about themselves or their kids "fitting in" or not.

Aren't you a bit too old to be worried about such nonsense?
