Unreal. I'd like to know if any one other than that one young fellow actually did help. I can't walk past a drunk begging for change outside the beer store never mind a hungry homeless child.

Summed up best by the little girl.... "What happened to this world"
There was one good person at least, that gave.
There was one good person in the story of Noah as well, right before the floodgates cleansed the planet. coffeetime.gif

Theres lots of good people in the world, the problem is they have become desensitized to homeless and povety because its rampant everywhere. The more you see something, the less attention you pay to it.

I took the Liberty of sharing that Video with my Twitter followers mostly activists for one cause or another. Ill share this with you in return.

The greed driven soul crushing industrial revolution has warped and twisted most of humanity transforming the majority of us into compartmentalized tax slaves desensitized to violence while at war with nature as our empathy and compassion and love for each other is being crushed and driven into extinction by technology...

just like everywhere in the world: people don't give a fuck about homeless persons. although i must add that it is very very very difficult to become homeless in germany.^^

for exampe: for years i see the same homeless persons in my hometown.
most of them are barely functioning alcoholics with mental problems who simply aren't able to complete an application for welfare. in addition they don't want any treatment whatsoever and therefore nobody can help them.
then there are those immigrants who thought that living in germany is like winning the lottery until they found out that they don't get any welfare whatsoever. most of them also don't have the nazi hive mind you need in order to survive in our society. chuckle.gif

so immigrant refugee's dont get any welfare.. interesting.. they get so much in Australia.. which i think is fair considering where they have come from..

immigrants (with fixed abode) in germany get about EUR 380.00 (USD 525.00/AUD 585.00) per month for the first 3 months if they are unemployed. but if they can't find a job or get any labor permit they'll get nothing after those 3 months.
refugees get a pocket money of about EUR 135.00 (USD 185.00/AUD 205.00) per month.
of course immigrants also get their rent paid. usually the state pays the full rent. but the rent varies from city to city. i think the average rent is about EUR 11.00 (USD 16.00/AUD 17.00) per square meter (11 square feet).
refugees live in asylum seeker accommodation centers.

edit: the yearly median gross income of a german is about EUR 25000.00 (USD 35000.00/AUD 39000.00). the state takes about 20 to 40 percent of what you earn - depending on your income.

well if a german worked in your country he would get "more".
but it isn't more. you just pay more for rents and other stuff and therefore your employers have to pay higher wages. but all in all an average australian can afford just the same things as an average us citizen or canadian or german or french in his country.
