CDC researchers say mothers should stop breastfeeding to boost 'efficacy' of vaccines

WTF! damned.gif

Yes I guess breastfeeding is the mother's choice, but this specific mother bases her choices on Dr. William Sears theory about forming a strong bond between the child and the parents by for instance breastfeeding for a long time and letting the child sleep with you in your bed. Now I totally think breastfeeding is the best thing to do to a baby, but not for the sake of bonding and I was more into raising independent kids. I did a pretty damn good job too.

Indeed ~ but I'm too brain dead to figger out who benefits.

The damn kid should just be a thumb sucker and take up smoking later in life like everyone else with oral issues.

Oh, I'm all for breast-fed nutrition ~ for infants and wee tots ~ but there comes a time when a kid just has to get off the tit ~ nutritionally and financially, I might add.

Adulthood might be a good time for standing up on one's hind feet financially ~ but I do believe if a kid can eat a PB&J then he can lay off the tit and grab his sippy cup.
