Interesting soup, what does lavage taste like, or resemble from other herbs? I took a soup making course from a chef at a college at night, once upon a time.

Update on seafood linguine: because hubby can't eat shrimp, there was something missing tastewise. I used lobster and clams and made a cream and butter sauce with asiago cheese. Hubby liked it, but for me, something was awry.

wave.gif  Hey Unique S, Jay's correct, strong celery would be as close as I could describe lovage. I use celery salt and also chop celery pieces in mine. There are not many lovage fans, it's a tad much for most.

Hi Strigoi (how did you get that handle?)

I've never seen it in the supermarkets here. I too use celery salt and celery pieces when cooking, but celery salt too is very strong, I find. I like celery salt on my home fries with breakfast.

Hey Octo. I find it almost impossible to find good spring rolls from any culture where they melt in your mouth.

Considering this is a very small town we're so lucky to have 2 Vietnamese food stands. Kieu makes the best spring rolls using local produce. I hear the Swedes rave about them too because they don't have this kind of spring rolls there.

I'd make cannabutter and include it with the peanut butter. I only use 2 dl of pb in this recipe anyway.
