We celebrate it usually it's turkey or duck... but duck's like a nuke in the oven FFS.
We do dressing, smoked oysters... pine nuts.

Taking the turkey out to thaw tomorrow evening, was thinking of brining this time. Has anybody ever done that? I had brined turkey a few years back and it was excellent.

We've brined, but it's too much hassle. We found a fantastic and simple roast turkey recipe we decided to stick with for a while, now we just need to remember which one it is... reading.gif

Turkey and Swiss sandwich on caraway dark rye with miracle whip, lettuce and a slice of tomato. Leftovers are the best part of thanksgiving, and beer! beercheer.gif
