wouldn't mind tryin that..^sounds really good

have some northern pike fillets in freezer fresh caught been meaning to take out & fry soon
(secret to boneless is cut along the backbone-then skin & put in freezer bag/fill bag with water then freeze/keeps very well that way)
northern pike is also great pickled & tastes like pickled herring

It was one of the most delicious dinners I had lately. JR fell into a food coma damned.gif

Oh I love pike and so does JR. It's best just fried in butter actually. Next time I get some pike fillet I will let it marinade in ginger, lemon, garlic, oil and salt before battering or maybe breading and frying. I think it would be great like that.

i fry pike on stove (or campfire) first very lightly tapping it in flour seasoned with salt & lemon pepper then cook in hot skillet that has butter & a dash also of cooking oil in it

Pike is some of the best fish ever as long as they are not too big.
I definitely need to get out and do some pike fishing soon.
