Whats up with the word Jack?

Jack, jacks, jackie, car jack, hi jack, lo jack, pallet jack, jack frost, jack rabbit, jack of all trades, jackal, jack pot, jack hammer, jacket, yellow jacket, jack knife, jackson, jack o lantern, jack ass, lumber jack, cracker jack, straight jacket, jack of hearts, steeple jack, jack off, black jack, sky jack, apple jacks, flap jacks, Jacksonville, jack daniels, union jack...

It literally goes on and on and on and on and on and on...

Theres no other name or word that comes even close to the multiple uses for and the endless meanings of the word jack...

Why not mary or sam or jane or mike or sue or tom or whoever else and whatever else?

Was jack the name of some really special person or king who lived long ago? who decided to declare and command that the rest of humanity for all time will...

"Listen to me and bow down to what I say from this moment on that anything and everything we possibly can will include my name and people all over the world now and in the future will automatically agree and adhere without any questions!?

What The F##k?!...I Mean...What The Jack?!

Bon Scott! beercheer.gif They were so much better then... not that I don't respect what Brian Johnson brought to the table - but it's just not the same.

aww I'm impressed, Van Halen - 'Dreams' is still one of my fave songs!

I had to ask my parents permission, I don't think kids were allowed to go see bands at 12 in my day, I don't think there were many.
