Didn't much care for that then, and even less now, but I was, and still am into the heavier stuff. Ozzy's diary of a madman came out around the same time as this and so did JP's Screaming for Vengeance, which made this stuff seem relatively lame and pop music like.
Additionally, I didn't like the singers voice or the guitarists chops. chuckle.gif

Yeah i hear ya,if only Ozzy had stayed with Black Sabbath, which would have most likely had them performing many of the awesome Ozzy solo songs as original Black Sabbath songs like wow maybe in another reality and i only really like Loverboys two songs above and When Its Over has stinging truthful lyrics with hauntingly ominous sounds that tear open the heart and soul for many of us who know exactly what hes writing and singing about it really hurts for more than a long time...

I love the Byrds! beercheer.gif
My fave of theirs:

I always gravitated to that trippy psychedelic vibe they had.

Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton and Jimmy page all played guitar for this awesome original rock and roll band the Yardbirds who transformed into the New Yardbirds who morphed into Led Zeppelin and this intense song also contains one of the most revolutionary electric guitar sounds ever played (*-*)

I remember this song, written by Steve Winwood, from that time. But, just looking around youtube, it appears they sang alot of other group's songs. cheers.gif

Blind Faith released one album,in 1969,with one of the most provocative and controversial covers ever, that reached number one in England and the United States and Canada that contained six songs and five of them are originals and one is a Buddy Holly song and heres the best original song from that record...
