I wouldn't force them. After all they can always forage for root veggies, berries, and edible flowers and leaves.

I was a survival instructor for my unit in the ARMY. Try living like that yourself and see how long you last.

You need protein and fat to survive a winter out doors.

I got it covered. But thank you for your advice.

I don't believe in forcing children to do activities that they may not be mentally prepared to handle. How old are your daughters?

Late teens and I don't really care. I don't believe in someone else telling me how to raise my kids.

So, I'm assuming you have discussed this with them and asked them rather than told them?

You are really starting to annoy me. You do you and I'll do me. You raise YOUR kids and I'll raise mine. You don't give me advice about my kids unsolicited and I will do the same for you.

Deal? Other than what I volunteer, everything else that has to do with my kids in NOT your business. It's mine.

Have a nice day.

So, you don't accept advice from anyone then? I understand. Good luck.

Excuse me. Did I ASK for your advice?

Fricken Libs always butting their noses in other people's business and then get it bit and they wonder why.

Mind your own business and don't go away mad.

Just go away.

My (couple years past teenage) daughter moved home Sept. Sunday I asked her to help with dishes. She said "Why? All I ever dirty is a plate and fork"
