Where Is The Otherside Of A Universe That Never Ends?

I can think of no way that our universe is able to be infinite, because it cant go on forever. Forever is an abstraction, a word with with no real meaning. If the universe is expanding, then it must be expanding within and into somewhere, or it would'nt be able to expand at all. If its creating itself, making space in front of it as it goes along, then it still must be creating itself within somewhere else and so wether its expanding, or even if it actually wraps around itself and is curved, then where is beyond it? and to say nowhere is beyond it, makes no sense whatsoever, nowhere is also an abstract word whos definition has no real meaning. Somewhere must be there on the otherside of its edge, wether it has an edge or not and even if there are multiple universes surrounding eachother, they cannot go on forever either. There still must be somewhere beyond them as well...

So all that i am left with is the feeling i get whenever i look up out into the void of ancient light we call outer space, its a holographic illusion, it only appears to go on forever, because i can only see it, only perceive it, with my limited senses and even looking at it and thinking about the universe that way, as an illusion, still brings us right back to the same mysterious question. What is on the other side of this illusion?

Wherever that is must also itself be somewhere and where is beyond there? Even if there are other dimensions, invisibly surrounding our universe, there must be somewhere beyond them as well, even if the stars, planets and moons are the protons, neutrons and electrons within the immense body of some vast gigantic living being, there still must be a somewhere beyond itself, even if our entire reality exists within the singularity of a super massive black hole, there still must be a somewhere else beyond it...

Even if our universe is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 light years across, there still must be a somewhere beyond there...

And even if that somewhere else is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 light years across, there still must be another somewhere beyond there and beyond that and beyond there and so on and so on, but it cant go on forever? but it does! but it cant? but it does, because it has to, or nothing really exists?!?!?!

My mind is spins as reality starts to blur at the thought of not being able to comprehend a valid answer to this perplexing mystery, where is the otherside of a universe that never ends? this answer, whatever it is, means everything, its where we are...

The more we see the more there is. Might be we just have to imaging what's beyond for it to become reality. damned.gif

For all I know our solar system might be a molecule in a kitchen table in some other dimension. dunno.gif

Good question.

Great post.

Paradox will always be at the core of Everything.

In a way, that is what drives it all.

Zoom in, zoom out, what else is there..?

And yes - now is not time; it is something else.

Okay here goes my baloney on this one.

When I was a kid I had this crazy notion that we lived inside another world. What I mean is, this world we call Earth is only like the core/mantle of an even bigger world. The sky above is only a kind of void between us and the next layer of that bigger world. We are like just some micro organism living in the underground of this other world.

Yeah I know daffy. Where's the proof!!?. Well I do state on my signature that I know I'm mad.....

Probably best I shut up now or I will loose any credibility as a sane human being that I might have.

theoretically, we can find the end of space. But first we would have to find the smallest particle.

I.E. the corner of the room. lets say its 5 steps away , so in five steps i will be there.

lets say the corner of the room is the edge of space, now how many of the smallest particles would it take to reach the same corner?

you cannot quantify space accurately enough to find its edge without the answer

Maybe everything expands as your mind does. Aren't we all creators? What if you manifest things in reality that you imagine... Then be careful what you imagine the beyond is. It could be a beautiful thing. yay.gif
