Guess you went by some other name back then, knitter?

Glad you found the kritterbox! hi5.gif

They actually got free speech on here.
Imagine that, this day & age.

And the way the threads refuse to stay on topic is bloody
refreshing every now and then, imho.

Anyway to get back to the story. I went for a walk along the beach with a suitable group of tripping tourists. Well we must of walked for about 5 KM when we came upon a large piece of dead coral on the beach.Man did we give that bleached colorless piece of dead coral some funeral! Weformed a ring around it and danced and sung and drunk loads of beer. About 4 hours later we rolled around the beach laughing our heads of until the sharks came out of the water! Then we ran! I think we were about 16 KM away from were we started when we kind of returned to the state we call normality.

Actually I think you're very much on topic. Universe exists as much internally as out there. hug.gif

Actually, it seems to be very important for humans,
to try and see existence from different viewpoints,
experience it in altered states.
Seems we're hardwired to get spraaaassshed!
One way or the other.

Bet you the ancestors started finding out the hard way
- as soon as they developed the opposable thumb grip -
which berries, flowers, mushrooms etc worked, which
didn't and which killed you.

Wonder how many pre-historic shamans it took...

Actually, it seems some people are completely terrified of that prospect.

Not everybody is interested in venturing into the great unknown.

No, maybe not everybody.
But most human cultures,
everywhere on the planet,
looks to have found ways
to get drunk, stoned, trippy...

I'd still argue it's a quite basic
human need.

True that! beercheer.gif

People will be the same all over the planet, no matter what race or religion or whatever. Some people just want to dig deeper. It's all good, there's a place for everyone.

No seriously, there is no scientific law that claims something MUST exist outside this universe. Just because you can't think it doesn't mean it's not possible. I think you're basing your theory on a pretty shaky premise here.
Forever and infinity are words with no real meanings, invented by people to try and explain the unexplainable,a bizarre reality existings somewhere far beyond our human comprehension...
