Jesus Returned? A Real Eskimo? The Anti Christ Arrived? An LSD Dealer?

Quote: "Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn"

"Everybody's building ships and boats
Some are building monuments, others are jotting down notes
Everybody's in despair, every girl and boy
But when quinn the eskimo gets here, everybody's gonna jump for joy"

"Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn"

"I like to go just like the rest, i like my sugar sweet
But jumping queues and making haste, just ain't my cup of meat
Everyone's beneath the trees, feeding pigeons on a limb
But when quinn the eskimo gets here, all the pigeons gonna run to him"

"Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn"

"Let me do what i wanna do, i can't decide em all
Just tell me where to put em and i'll tell you who to call
Nobody can get no sleep, there's someone on everyone's toes
But when quinn the eskimo gets here, everybody's gonna wanna doze"

"Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty quinn"

I bet the mighty quinn will be here at the same time as Jesus 2.0. which will coincidentally be when we don't need anything nor anyone.

The song was written by Bob Dylan > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinn_the_E...hty_Quinn) and the lyrics that say "You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn" instead of saying "No One" or "Nobody" seems to be implying that Quinn isnt even a person? > http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=2399

Although Manfred Mann were the first to release the song and their version is vastly superior heres Bob Dylans version...

Yeah, but there are lyrics which are similar, such as 'you ain't seen nothin' yet' - which points to 'love'.

Edit: No, we are both wrong...seems it is about his friend high on drugs (becoming mighty).

"Bob had a friend named Quincy. I wont give his last name. He supplied bob with coke. Bob in tribute wrote this to him. The people in the song are in need of a "fix" for which Quinn has come to remedy. Its actually a heroin song though bob never dabbled."

It's always been said to be a heroin song.

Note near the end that it makes you doze.

Pray for me. hug.gif

So the Mighty Quinn and Doctor Robert and DR Feelgood would have a lot in common...

And not necessarily just heroin either but other pick ya ups and lay ya downs as well...

In my opening post I guessed that the Mighty Quinn might be an LSD Dealer...

It appears this song is about a guy named Quincy who supplied everyone with heroine and cocaine.

Quote:Heroin is made with morphine (and various acids).
The morphine in heroin slows down breathing and relieves pain which makes people sleepy.

"Let me do what I wanna do, I can't decide 'em all
Just tell me where to put 'em and I'll tell you who to call
Nobody can get no sleep, there's someone on everyone's toes
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, everybody's gonna wanna doze"
