I've been using massive amounts of negative ions for the last 8 or 9 months and have seen immense "Hall of Fame" positive coincidences such as dropping 50 pounds without dieting or exercising, walking much better while dealing with a broken back injury from long ago, and thinking with a level of clarity I don't recall ever having.
I've had as many as 5,000 zirconia ceramic disks in my residence that are rated to generate 7,000 ions per second.. That's potentially 35 million a second although they are mostly in thin cardboard boxes, so they don't have ideal exposure to the air to trigger optimal amounts.
I put three of the Disks on a 16-inch fan. That's probably producing several hundred million ions a second. The fan is pointed at the boxes (qty 700), two of which are open. It's a party in here.
Now if I could just get one of those bubble spiders...
