Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!

Intriguing and mysterious...

Not so very long ago...

Everyone young and old and in between wore hats...

Hats of all colors and hats of all shapes and hats of all sizes all the time...

Worn at work and at home and recreationally...

Now nobody does...

Seriously why?

Cant say its because of fashion trends changing...

Because decades and centuries and so many generations passed...

While many different fashionable styles came and went...

Shoes and clothing and everything else...

But the hats remained the same...

Millions upon millions upon millions of them...

Still designed and still made and still sold and still bought and still worn...

More than most people still wore their millinery all the time...

Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!...Hats Everywhere!

İmage

Must have been a huge thriving mega business worth billions...

Thats gone more or less completely vanished...

Just doesnt exist anymore like before...

Because these days hardly anyone ever wears hats...

Seriously why?

A theory...

During the race for space...

Throughout the nineteen sixties...

So many people were thinking futuristically while looking upwards...

Gazing into the sky night and day and into outer space more than ever before...

Exactly when people suddenly stopped wearing hats...

Just an amazing coincidence?

A strange connection?

Outward expressions of subliminally inward synchronicity?

Or was something else going on?

Hats Nowhere!...Hats Nowhere!...Hats Nowhere!...Hats Nowhere!...Hats Nowhere!

It's cold here most of the time... I wear a skullcap/stockingcap/baseball cap outside as a norm, only in summer do I not.
Fedoras are a different thing. chuckle.gif

When blow dryers came in, hats went out.

Hats covered bad hair days. Do it yourself hairstyling has come a long way, especially since the availability of hand-held hair dryers.

I bought a Stetson last February on my trip to Oklahoma to pick up Louis the Poodle.
I usually don't wear hats, except in Winter.

I'm in my seventh decade on Earth. I know things.

I'm pretty sure the hat to the right is a cake which is very convenient in case you suddenly crave something sweet.

Seriously, the unbelievably massive amount of hats being worn, shown within the photo of my second post above, is really quite amazing and truly mind blowing and especially when compared to here and now, theres no doubt, a genuine mystery indeed...
