Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

We were looking at Ford pickups - 2012 models - and I have to say the headrest pushed my head forward to an uncomfortable position. When I mentioned that to the saleswoman she said we could simply remove them! blink.gif wtf2.gif

So, we will be looking in other pastures for a new truck. bleh.gif

damned.gif Sure, remove them. It's all good until somebody rear ends you and you end up with a broken neck.

They are a safety feature. In the States if that was even suggested by a car salesman you could sue them. damned.gif

I thought it was a strange suggestion. She was a little... blonde.gif...I think. Or just really desperate to sell a vehicle. sad2.gif It also looks like they are keeping the same headrest design for 2013, which is not adjustable.

the trolls have yet to realize that here they are ignored and laughed at on this site

It is very hard to troll people that have a sense of humor.

Henry Ford's first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the CAR ITSELF WAS CONSTRUCTED FROM HEMP! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, 'grown from the soil,' had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel; Popular Mechanics, 1941.

That is emtirely bogus.

Cars were not allowed to be built even from aluminum, letalone plastic.

Of course it had to be stopped.

Here is a video of the car. If you can take a sledge to a car that is pretty good. The plastic Fiero and the Saturns resisted bumps pretty well too.

The car was actually called the Soybean car moreso than the Hemp car.
