Quote:Legal and policy solutions focus too much on the problems under the Orwellian metaphor—those of surveillance—and aren't adequately addressing the Kafkaesque problems—those of information processing. The difficulty is that commentators are trying to conceive of the problems caused by databases in terms of surveillance when, in fact, those problems are different.

I think privacy can be distilled down to a singular concept or core idea:
personal sovereignty.

out the window and into a data base somewhere
in a blackened basement, to reside in a locked file cabinet.

My phone tapped
surveillance devices all over my home and vehicles.

implanted with a tracking device.

and yet, i have nothing to fear...........

keeper of the vault, wherein are stored these missives and notes compiled on the personal lives of people, has no sweat upon his brow.

is the keeper worried it may all get out of the box and back through the window?

No, not the vault master,,, not the least worried.

closer to this reality,, i have lived , more then even fictional characters have.

and still,,,, no worries.

as presented above, the Vault Master, has the plan.

We question and we attempt reason
we cry and we shout
we dance madly around and about

we face what the darkest fears were presented to be, in all that ancient literature,, and yet we accept no recourse of thwarting it,,,,

for in our selfish desire to have others decide our fate
we gave over power to those who would use it against us.

and yet,,, am i worried?

no, nothing here to hone the edge of fear, in which i may puncture my brave heart.

Knowing that what i could release in public venue could sign my own death warrant

i did so without fear of death or imprisonment.

a person is what they forge themselves to be
and fear is what we allow for it to be forged into,,, for us.

Red Flags blowing in the wind, are there before us, simply, because we delivered them unto ourselves.

SELF RESPONSIBLE ACCEPTANCE, is a naughty bitch to deal with.

Recalling that as a child,, i was stopped at every attempt i made to whimper

chin up,,, or i'll give you something to cry about.

it can be a hard world at times, and the hard edge i use is that tool for such
and that tool is from that early conditioning

and as was said to me back then,,, it'll make a Man out of you.
being 57 years of conditioning, the forge has a well deserved rest coming in the end.

Oh yes,,, yes indeed.the above thread title and the text thereof, is correctly given as the factual way it works for the POO's

yes , that's what they are doing,,,

now,,,, what are you going to do for,,,, the,,, encore?
