IF DRUG testing occurs! People will be cut off! And the children of these people will suffer the loss of vital FOOD!

If there ever was mandatory drug testing for everyone, only the poor and middle class would end up being the ones who get tested...

Because the beautiful people, the stuck up yuppies who think their s##t doesnt stink, would end up buying their way out of it,like they use to do the war draft...

Just like its only the poor and middle class, the financially oppressed and sexually repressed people, the undesirable elements of society, who end up going to prison for drug offenses, because they cant afford to pay for decent attorneys...

Indeed. And not to mention the fact that many people might be found to have drugs in their system, even if they don't use drugs. False-positives are a genuine concern. Even if the rate is low, we are still talking about denying someone basic life support even though they did nothing wrong.

Good morning Cap coffeetime.gif I knew a guy turned down for a job for opiates. He ate a sammich on a poppy seed bun a few hours prior to a piss test lmao.gif
He told them what happened and they were not interested in letting him retake it. Employers who look at the results of these tests as gospel are freekin' idiots.

G'mornin to you as well.

It's bad enough to not get a job over something like this, but a person might not have gotten the job anyway. Competition for work is tough. If it weren't, and employers were having a hard time filling positions, you would see drug testing in the workplace stop too.

It's a totally different story to deny someone basic human necessities. Even if the person actually is on drugs, I don't see how that justifies starving someone to death or letting them die of exposure.

Back to drug testing in the workplace though... An acquaintance of mine was driving a lumber truck with a class A CDL and got into a wreck. Mandatory drug test for CDL drivers involved in a wreck. His company tested too, but on this particular day it was the police who did. He came up dirty even though he did not use drugs. The likely cause of the dirty test was that he was a regular Mountain Dew drinker.
